Who We Are

The University of Denver Grilling Society (d.u.g.s.) is far from your ordinary club. From our humble beginnings, we have always strived to deliver events beyond expectations. From one event to the next, no two menus are the same.

The DU Grilling Society was founded in 2007 to enhance the culinary environment on campus. We serve student organizations of all sizes, with events ranging from plated dinners for 50 high school counselors to over 700 hungry hockey fans, and everything in between. We also are dedicated to raising the bar- with the quality of our food and the level of spirit and culture on campus. We embrace new and experienced grilliers and are bringing new experiences to our members, guests, and clients.

Beyond our catering operations, we are happy to now engage our members in unique educational experiences- from grilling and food safety skills to members-only grilling events, cooking classes, chef visits, and restaurant tours.

In the near future, d.u.g.s. hopes to establish relationships with a local spice shop, release a cookbook, and continue to become a part of DU's unique culture for years to come.
